Shotgun Congress

Uh...uh... deep breaths. Just breathe. You'll find her. She didn't get far. How far could she have gone. She's dead, smashed by a vehicle. I'm certain of it, speeders infest this neighborhood. She's not dead. Find her. Take the others, they'll sniff her out. Just breathe, you'll find her...

Thoughts like these raced through my head mere moments ago. I'd sat down to leave at quick note about the relocation of Congressional Headquarters (more on that in a minute), so I put the dogs out to allow for a few moments of peace and focus. I decided to feed them first and when I went outside one of the three pooches had already slipped her leash. It was my girlfriend's sister's dog and she had just turned a million years old. But only seconds after the panic had set in the missing 40 pound beagle (yeah, seriously) reemerged out of the shadows. Ah, I was off the hook.

All of this actually happened last night. I was interrupted again until this morning and, after attending a bikrim yoga class, now I finally have the time to finish writing this blog entry.

Anyhoo, all the excitement is gone and the point can finally be addressed. I, lo def, have relocated myself and thus the Congressional Headquarters out of my parents home in Iowa and into a nice cozy little cottage in Omaha, NE. Ok, so it's not a cottage but it is a damn fine house located in the Benson area.
